We are on our way to China (well our paperwork is anyway)
On September 6, 2012 we received our approval letter from the National Visa Center. With this letter came confirmation that our petition was forwarded to the US Consulate in Guangzhou, China. Our agency has sent our packet, with our Letter Seeking Confirmation to China. This letter informs China that we accept Ava's referral. Now that everything has been sent to China we will need to wait roughly 2-3 weeks for the US Consulate to issue our Article 5. Once we receive our Article 5 we can request travel approval from China and a Consulate appointment from the US! We believe that we will travel to China around the beginning of November; it seems like a lifetime away!!!

Hi Nichole!
We're hoping we will be right behind you & maybe travel around the same time. We were apparently approved end of last week, although I will have to confirm Monday & see when exactly our DS230 will be cabled....
