New pictures of our baby girl!!!

I have been checking my email every 5 minutes since we sent the orphanage donation through Ann at Red Thread. I woke up a few minutes ago to the sound of my phone receiving an email. I was hoping it was from Ann and sure enough there was our baby girl! I woke up Brian so we could look at the pics together. Her Daddy kept saying "look how big she is"! Ava has grown since her last pictures 4 months ago. Today is her 8 month birthday. I was sad that we were missing yet another milestone with her but these new pictures have brought a big smile to my face! We love that the pictures include her foster grand mother. We were so excited to see someone from her family; what a gift this will be for her in the future! I love that she will be able to put a face to the people who loved and cared for her in China. I am assuming that the pics were taken at the orphanage (even though she is in foster care we think she may spend some time there during the day) the room looks so bright and clean. I was talking to a member of our facebook group who just brought home her baby girl last week. Her daughter is from the same SWI as Ava and was born just 6 days after her! She reassured me that the girls have been very well cared for and that her daughter is doing wonderfully! Besides getting pictures Ann was able to get updated info about our chunky monkey as well! She has 2 teeth and apparently weighs 24 pounds! I may need to exchange some outfits for bigger sizes!
