Gifts for Ava

We sent Ava a care package through a woman in China named Ann.  She is so sweet and helpful.  Sending packages from the US to children in China can be tricky.  Some shipments never get delivered.  If its not handled correctly by the sender the orphanage can be charged customs fees.  We decided it was best to buy some things through Ann and have her ship them directly from China.  Only bad part is we can't pick out the items ourselves.  We decided to send Ava pajamas, a blanket and a stuffed animal. We also sent candy to her foster family and a camera for them to take pictures of Ava and her foster family!  We also sent a letter thanking her family for caring for her and also asked if they would like to keep in touch after Ava's adoption.  We would love for her to have a link to her first months of life! When we travel to Guangzhou, China we will get to meet Ann in person!  We are hiring her as a personal shopping guide for a day.  She will take us to all the best shops and bargain for great prices for us!  Here is her site; http://redthreadchina.com/
